Luiz Carlos Aragão Carreira Junior

Holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the Federal University of Pará (UFPA) and is a researcher at the Laboratory of Bioinformatics and Genomics of Microorganisms (LBGM). He has experience in data science, artificial intelligence, and computer vision. His main research focus is on the application of computational intelligence in environmental monitoring. He also has experience in analyzing biomedical signals using artificial neural networks. He also co-created the "PC Solidário" initiative, which remains active today, originating as an evaluative project for a technical course at SENAC/PA, focused on the collection, reuse, and responsible disposal of electronic waste.
